Every year in September, the Australian Solar Energy Society has a home open day across the nation.

Carefully selected homes are open for visitors in major cities and some more distant locations. For a small fee you can visit these homes, get to meet the owners and find out how they did things, and get some inspiration to build or renovate for your OWN sustainable home.

Our teams of volunteer experts have made sure that the homes that we include are interesting and worth a visit.
